studio manager / marketing coordinator

Responsibilities

  • build and implement social media programs that ensure appropriate messaging is executed online, to support studio goals, incorporating all social media channels
  •  monitor social media activity, trends, tools, and applications and recommend actions/next steps
  • report insights gained from social media monitoring
  • respond to social media inquiries in a timely and courteous fashion
  • conducting research to identify clients, sector opportunities, and competition
  • coordinating production and distribution and of promotional materials and social media content
  • maintain studio calendar to include marketing & production schedules, appointments & travel
  • coordinate events including meetings, speaking engagements, portfolio appointments, and photography / video  shoots 
  • assist in the maintenance & organization of updating web sites: up to date content, copy, news, etc. on a weekly basis 
  • maintain CRM & database 
  • assist in the writing and distribution of marketing / PR materials. 
  • collect up to date assets from artists and provide to agent
  • assist in the organization of media assets
  • develop film and scan negatives
  • manage internship program
  • keep studio space clean and orderly
  • serve as main point of contact for studio rentals
  • develop a maintain and social media calendar for studio
  • send out client thank you gifts following production
  • facilitate travel booking for out of town production
  • communicate with vendors regarding equipment rentals and returns
  • assist in the ongoing prep and maintenance of equipment

 

Qualifications

  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • technical knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, metrics and tracking
  • experience in sales, customer service, public speaking preferred
  • excellent presentation and communication skills
  • excellent time management and organization skills
  • an aptitude to understand tasks and see them through to completion 
  • ability to multi-task as well as work independently and as part of a team 
  • experience with advertising / marketing strategy and practices preferred
  • proven competency in software applications, including Word, Excel & the Adobe Creative Cloud with the ability to learn new applications quickly 
  • Must demonstrate a high level of initiative 
  • Must be a determined problem solver

 

Days/Hours per Week

20 hours per week.
Exact schedule to be determined by candidate's schedule (there is flexibility as the Creative Services space is not a 9 - 5 environment)
